Anyone here done this, taught themselves to code? If so what'dya learn and were you able to turn that into more money at work or a better career, or did you just do it for fun?

I've messed around with Python, Java and C++ doing online lessons and sandbox writing before. YouTube and some other free sites seem to offer good lessons.

What do you think is the best language to learn right now?

Why don't you think so? Sounds like you are doing well with a big screen.. is it the 'gimmick' of the curve or something else?

Please don't use Robinhood. They don't deserve users anymore.

It is logical but unfortunately it won't ever happen. Fiat currency like the US dollar are inherently inflationary. At least until they no longer print more of it.

I see some tech threads on here so figured I'd ask.. anyone here use a curved screen computer monitor? Do you think they are worth it for productivity or is it just a gimmick? I'm actually considering a huge 49' curved one instead of having 2 or 3 screens side by side, but they are kinda expensive, like $800 - $1000.

Big corp gets bailout money they don't deserve all the time. About time we did too and if you can make your life better by investing definitely do it.

The story that put NFTs over the top and on everyone's radar was when Beeple sold an NFT for $69 million. Basically an artist sold a piece of art as a digital image, that is attached to a blockchain to prove ownership, and it went for an insane amount of money in an online auction, making Beeple one of the richest artists in the world.

The NBA is selling NFTs on their Top Shot site and that market is going crazy right now; people are buying digital 'moments' of basketball players for tens of thousands, sometimes much more. Every day I look and find tons of people selling NFTs in all kinds of creative and interesting ways. Most people think this is an unsustainable bubble. And sure, maybe so in a lot of cases. But that doesn't make it any less interesting.

What's the craziest example you have of NFT selling? (If you don't know what NFTs are, no biggie, here's a crash course)

Once we got off the gold standard and introduced quantitative easing it was all down hill from there. Encourage everyone to read up on quantitative easing, will definitely make you think twice about how our economy is run in the background.

Ha. I love the arrogance of money 'experts' telling us we are just gambling by investing into the stock market, like it's not what wall street has done since it was invented. Somehow if you are rich you aren't gambling but if you aren't you are too stupid to know what to do with your extra money.
