    Anyone here done this, taught themselves to code? If so what'dya learn and were you able to turn that into more money at work or a better career, or did you just do it for fun?

    I've messed around with Python, Java and C++ doing online lessons and sandbox writing before. YouTube and some other free sites seem to offer good lessons.

    What do you think is the best language to learn right now?

    This is something I've always had an interest in learning, but for some reason haven't hunkered down and committed to a course. I've always found one excuse or another to put it off for another day, but hopefully I'll break that one of these days and learn how to do it.
