We're likely days away from the passage of a 3rd stimulus check and this one will be the biggest to date. That's good news for a lot of people who could surely use the additional money right now.
My wife and I will probably be getting a little over half of the maximum amount and have had a couple discussions about saving it for a rainy day or putting it towards a future (hopefully very near future) vacation. I'm a little more of a spender than my wife, but she did like the idea of using it towards a vacation considering it's been a year since we've left our state. We haven't made any final decisions, but I am pretty sure I won her over.
What about you? Are you planning on spending your 3rd check or saving it for now?

That's not a bad idea at all and will almost certainly pay off in the long run.
Thankfully we were able to continue our investment strategy without any interruptions during 2020, so we aren't terribly worried about spending more than we can afford. It'll just be nice to get away for a little while once it's safe to travel again.
I won't be getting anything after the changes the Senate made. I was originally going to get around 1/2 of the amount or so, but with the new "hard caps" I no longer qualify.
To be honest, I'm perfectly fine with not getting any additional stimulus. I'm lucky enough to have had a stable job throughout this past year and, while the extra money was nice, it isn't a necessity. I'm happy to see more money going to the people who need it the most.
