Are you expecting a 2nd stimulus check but haven't received it yet? I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you are one of those people then time is quickly running out to get your check before a January 15, 2021 deadline. If you haven't received your check (or if it isn't postmarked) by that date then you will unfortunately have to wait to claim the amount you're owed until you file your 2020 taxes.
One of the main reasons you may not have received your 2nd check is if you changed banks during the year. My wife and I fall into this category and now have to wait to get our check until we file our taxes in a couple months. Another reason you may not have received your check is if you have moved.
Either way, if you haven't received your check yet then you should go to the Get My Payment page on the IRS's website to see if there is anything else you can do.
