Living abroad while working remotely

I work remotely and it seems like I'm always playing with the idea of living in another country for 6 months to a few years at a time, just because. I think that's one of the advantages of not being tied down to a physical location, getting to travel for extended periods of time and still make a living. And while working from home used to be something I considered unique for my line of work, given the past year it's clearly become quite common.

Once things get back to normal, I think I'm going to pull the trigger and go .. somewhere for a while. Any suggestions? What are some good countries that's fairly easy to stay in for a few months+, where you can setup shop in for a while, that are worthwhile? Thought of Costa Rica, Greece, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, maybe even Germany.

Costa Rica, Greece, and Spain are very affordable to live in. Especially Spain. I hear though, that Australia and New Zealand are expensive to live in because it cost more to get goods and resources there.

Oh also don't forget some of the Asian countries like Thailand. I hear it is very affordable to live there. Plus you have good there on top of that. :)

Appreciate the advice but what does 'you have good there on top of that' mean?

Yeah maybe so. At least for some things that need to be imported, similar to Hawaii here in the states.
